A screening of three films by artist Peter Doig. The series was produced in the spirit of Peter Doig and artists Che Lovelace’s StudioFilmClub, a weekly Trinidad film club that screened independent, Caribbean and foreign language films.

Pachanga Variety Show

A community-wide talent show of all ages, featuring acts from across the tri-county region. Pachanga featured animal acts, barbershop quartets, singers and dancers. Prizes were awarded by local celebrity judges.

Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins
Presented By: Ballroom Marfa
A performance by Jenny Lewis, front-woman of the band Rilo Kiley. Lewis performed material from her debut album, Rabbit Fur Coat, backed by Louisville sirens The Watson Twins. An evening of soul, vintage folk, and lyrics Elvis Costello has hailed as “among the best being written today.”

Get Your War On

Get Your War On is the hilarious and timely theater adaptation of David Rees’ internet comic strip of the same name. Get Your War On savagely attacks the irreverent nationalism of Post-9/11 America. Director Shawn Sides translated the simplicity of the cartoon phenomenon from the page to the stage.
