The Reading
Presented By: Ballroom Marfa
The Reading was a professionally staged screenplay presentation produced by Ballroom Marfa in conjunction with the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences. The inaugural event featured a reading of The Jumper Of Maine, a winning script from Andrew Lanham who won the prestigious 2010 Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting.

A staged reading of celebrated writer Deborah Eisenberg’s only play, Pastorale. The reading featured a local cast and was directed by Chinati Foundation Deputy Director, Rob Weiner. The playwright and her partner, Wallace Shawn, were in attendance.
