Rick Bass, ecological activist and author of many widely-admired novels and collections of essays, will be reading from his work. Bass, who is originally from Fort Worth, has been a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award and has won both the Pushcart and O. Henry prizes.

Laura Marling is an English folk musician who won Best Female Solo Artist at the 2011 Brit Awards and was nominated for the same award again the following year.  She is touring in support of her latest record, Once I Was An Eagle, which Pitchfork called “a vigorously polished, hard-won achievement”.
